SEMESTER PROJECT "HEROES": Play-OFF

This RTW-Collection "Play-off" for S/S 2016 is inspired by my favourite heroic/anti-heroic epic "Hamlet", pointing out the ambivalence between the good conscience and a misleading subconscious. Within the outfits, newly interpreted renaissance elements are combined with the top-class sport American Football.
One highlight is a "self weaved" material, made by weaving elastic ribbbons

into a net fabric.
The only print that is used (one is solarized, the other is the original) is inspired by the "dying Ophelia scene" that is captured in many paintings and should demonstrate the battle of the good and the bad conscience.
The connection to A. Football can be found on the back of the outfits. All characters got their own name with an attribute or his role in the play, combined with a number, for example "1 Prince Hamlet", "2 Mad Ophelia" or "7 Avenger Laertes".
